THINGS YOU’RE THINKING BUT DON’T WANT TO SAY OUT LOUD

 

“I cannot afford a personal trainer.” While some trainers or programs might not fit your budget, at SCORE we created lower-cost options that can not only get you started but can give you options that could get you over the hurdles that are holding you back.

“I'm not fit enough to start training.” That’s a myth that lots of people believe. I wish they didn’t because it keeps people from starting the process to improving their health. That fear keeps your potential locked inside. Don’t worry, we won’t shame or embarrass you for your current fitness level. Your Action Plan is custom to you, and we will modify your moves as needed so you can be successful and avoid injury. I can’t promise you we won’t push you, but we are happy to work with you right now, just as you are.

“I've tried several programs, times, diets and failed.” Sometimes failure in fitness is not always your fault. Confusing marketing, misinformation, and just blatant lies about health, fitness, and weight loss are designed to get you to buy products and services. Most fitness companies and products care more about you buying than you achieving your goal. At SCORE, we keep it simple and equip you to be the solution.  

“I'm too busy.” Yeah, you probably are busy. The question is more about how you are prioritizing your time. We all make time for things that are important to us. Is your health and fitness important enough for you to make time for it? 

“I need to check with my spouse.” No problem. Go talk with your partner about how you want to stay healthy, or get fit, or live long enough to “grow old together.” You should be talking with each other about your health. Go do it now! We’ll wait right here.

 

“I’ve never stuck with my previous programs.” That is so common. Almost everyone we work with has tried something else and not stuck with it. “Sticking with it” becomes so much easier when you have the accountability of a coach + a program that eliminates confusion about what you should be doing.

“I’m worried about it being really hard or you pushing me faster than I want to go.” To be honest, accomplishing your goal will be challenging. But we give you a strategy to execute, and we’ll be there every step of the way. You won’t be taking on this challenge alone. It’s gonna be life changing when you do things you didn’t think were possible. Any hard parts will be worth it. You’re worth it.

“I want to look at cheaper options.” You’ll definitely find cheaper options. There are lots of them out there — gyms, apps, YouTube channels, DVDs from the thrift store. I’m not saying you can’t get fit on the cheap, but most of my clients have tried those things and they don’t work. They don’t work because they’re not designed for you. You’re a unique human with specific goals, specific abilities, specific limiting beliefs. When we work together, we learn who you are and how to coach, train and teach you

“I have medical challenges that affect my results.” Before starting a fitness program, you should talk with your physician. Once we have the necessary medical information about your unique situation, it's much easier to tailor your success journey.
